School News and Updates

*National Honor Society will be collecting for the food drive until Friday! You have 2 days to get those items in!!! Please bring in your unexpired items to the following teachers. Seniors: Mrs. Unverferth, Juniors: Mr. Gerding, Sophomores: Mrs. Bockrath, Freshman: Mrs. Maag, 8th grade: Mr. Huber, 7th grade: Mr. Schultz, 6th grade: Mrs. Stechschulte, 5th grade: Mrs. Morris. Please check the expiration dates and bring in your items.
*Juniors- If you would like to take the Practice ACT please turn in the form and money to the office by Friday. The test will be given on January 13 at 8:00am.
*Anyone interested in playing Jr. High softball, forms need returned to the office by Friday.
*HS students: please turn in your Exam Permission papers to the office.
*Great Job to the JV girls’ basketball who won 29-25 and the Varsity girls’ won 37-29 against Jefferson.
*Please check out the lost and found table. All things will be donated during Christmas break!

*Boys grades 5-6 the holiday baseball camp is Dec. 22 & 23 from 11:30-2pm. Cost is $55.00 If you would like a camp form, please stop in the HS office.

Important Reminders

*If anyone has any old, ugly, nice, unused wrapping paper, please drop it off to the office.
*ALL Book bills are past due! There are 4 students who still owe.
*All students grade 5-8: you are not allowed to have your cell phone on you. All cellphones in grades 5-8 MUST be kept in your locker. High school students: you must dock your cell phones every period, every day.
*Wildcat Cards are available in the HS office if anyone would like one. $10.00
*Christmas in Kalida will be on Sunday, December 14, 2025 from 12-3:00pm in downtown Kalida. The Post Prom Committee will be selling Crumbl cookies. Any leftovers will be sold during HS lunch on Monday please bring cash to school.
