School News and Updates

*Students grades 5-8, keep your hands out of the snow and to yourselves when going to and from religion.

*Any chicken BBQ ticket money can be returned to the HS office.

*Mr. Schultz is looking for 2-3 junior high or high school volunteers to help at the Putnam County Science Fair, here at Kalida High School, on Saturday. If you would be willing to help, please see Mr. Schultz. This would be some great service hours.

*Capstone will report to study hall today.

*Girls grades 5 & 6: please return all softball papers to the office by Friday.

*Tomorrow is the Group & Activity Picture Day.Reminder to seniors that the group picture day will start at 8:00AM. (Vantage students will travel to Vantage after the picture, and any Vantage student who rides the bus should find transportation to Vantage on Friday.)

*Who would you like to be the Mascot during the Boys’ Seniors Night Game?? THE KHS Cheerleaders will be doing a fundraiser during lunch. Donate cash and cast your vote. Your options will be Mr. Gable, Mr. Myers, Mr. Walker, Mrs. Stechschulte, and Mrs. Myers.

*HS scheduling will be on Friday for current 9, 10 and 11th graders. (Please turn in scheduling sheets by Feb 12.)

*Great Job last night to the: HS Academic Teams with yet another WIN against Continental. The Varsity team is still undefeated!!!

*Good Luck today to: Freshman boys’ PCL tournament game at 5:30pm at Miller City, Jr. High boys’ basketball at 5:00pm at home against Columbus Grove & Jr. High girls’ basketball at 5:00pm at Ottoville

Important Reminders

*CCP Parent meeting on February 10, 2026 at 6:00pm in the community room.

*PRIDE survey for grades 10, 12 will be during activity period (2/11). If you have a paper that your parent signed for you to not participate in this survey, please bring it to the office now.

*Athletic Boosters Chicken BBQ tickets have been passed out to the athletes. Please return any money to the HS office ASAP. If you would like Chicken BBQ tickets, you can contact the HS office.

*The Softball team is selling laundry detergent. Please contact a Varsity softball player or the office to order. You can pick up your order at the Chicken BBQ.

*BBQ sauce and Strawberry fundraiser will continue until Feb. 20. Delivery will be the week of March 9th. Please call the office or see an FFA student to order. Payments need to be made when ordering, all checks payable to KHS.

*The spring testing schedule has been posted to the school’s website. Please avoid any appointments during your child’s testing times.
