School News and Updates

*Girls grades 5&6, this is the final sign up if you want to play Softball.
*Juniors and Seniors- Post Prom shirt order forms will be delivered from your homeroom teachers.
*There is a bloodmobile committee meeting during lunch today in Mrs. Grime’s room.
*Congratulations to the following students that won a merit ribbon at Sunday's county art show: Lauren Laudick, Madelynn Myers, Isabel Recker, Madison Ricker, Alex Shininger, Blake Remlinger, Nate Wannemacher, Payton Black, Emma Shininger, Aydin Askins, Avery Bockrath, and Rylee Unverferth.
Congrats to Sophia Potts who won two merit ribbons, and Chloe Chalklin and Grace Verhoff who each won three merit ribbons. Izzy Recker and Madelynn Myers were also recognized for being four-year consecutive merit winners! And a HUGE congratulations to Aydin Askins that won a Best of Show award!
*The blood drive at KHS on Thursday still has some open time slots. Please contact Mrs. Grime to book your appointment.
*Congratulations to Trenton Kahle and Case Wortkoetter. Saturday, they participated, with a team project, in the Northwest Ohio Science and Engineering Fair at Northwest State Community College. Trenton and Case were selected as the top junior high project, earning a superior rating while winning several awards.
*Juniors: don’t forget to turn in your job shadow forms to Mr. Clement this week.
*Great Job this weekend to the Varsity boys’ basketball team against Minster! They will now play in the Regional Semifinals game on Tuesday at BGSU at 6:00pm. Great Job to the cheerleaders for getting the crowd involved and the student section was pumped up and loud!! Also, Great Job to Lauren Laudick as she finished 4th in the State Indoor Track meet.

Important Reminders

*Due to weather conditions in Florida, strawberries will now be coming in the week of 3/16. BBQ sauce is here!
*Washington D.C. class trip papers have been sent home to current 7th graders. Please return the commitment
form and first payment by March 20, 2026 if you plan on going. Second payment is due by April 17, 2026.
*The spring testing schedule has been posted to the school’s website. Please avoid any appointments during your child’s testing times.
*Our next blood drive is scheduled for Thursday, 3/12/26, from 10am-3pm in the HS gym. Appointments are every 15-minutes. Every unit we collect helps us earn scholarship money for our graduating seniors. Also, during the month of March, all successful blood donations will receive free A1C testing, which is commonly used to screen for prediabetes and diabetes. A1C testing measures your average blood sugar over the past 3 months and no fasting is needed. Plus, you'll get a $15 Amazon.com Gift Card by email for donating. If you'd like to schedule an appointment, please let us know.
