School News and Updates

*Signups for Cheerleading and Mascot will end tomorrow.

*The library will be closed Friday, Monday and Tuesday for students coming down from study hall. Students may come down and check books in or out and to retrieve papers.

*Kalida’s musical The Drowsy Chaperone will be this weekend. Tickets are available for purchase in the Administration Building. $9 for reserved and $7 for general admission.

*In the upcoming weeks any Freshman or Sophomore testing, please make sure your iPad is charged.

*2025-2026 yearbooks are currently on sale and can be ordered online at jostensyearbook.com. For anyone who prefers to not order online, order forms are available in the high school office. Please pick up a form in the office and return form and payment to the office or to Mrs. Unverferth. The cost is $60.00. Checks should be made payable to Kalida High School. Order forms and payment are due Friday, April 24th.

Important Reminders

*ALL CELL PHONES MUST BE DOCKED!!! There are no exceptions in any class ANY GRADE! Grades 5-8 if you are found with your phone, it will be kept in the office, you will receive a detention and your parents will have to pick it up after school-your phones must stay in your locker. EVERYONE if we continue having phone problems, next school year we will not allow phones in the building. Please follow the rules.

*Washington D.C. class trip: Second payment is due by April 17, 2026. (Last payment is due May 15, 2026.)

*Mock Crash for HS students: April 17 at 1:00pm

*Spring Band Concert: Grades 5-12. April 21 at 8:00pm in the Auditeria.

*Midterms: April 23, 2026

*Prom: May 2, 2026

*HS Academic Ceremony: May 6 at 8:00pm in the Auditeria
