School News and Updates

*SENIORS – will meet during Activity Period on Wednesday with Mr. Walker and Mr. Clement in the Auditeria, Juniors will meet with Mr. Liebrecht in the Community room
*HS Volleyball summer league medical forms due today.
*Soccer Hogg Creek payment and medical forms are due today.
*The library will be closed today and tomorrow for students coming down from study hall. Students may come down and check books in or out and to retrieve papers.
*There isn’t any speech this week!
*25-26 Yearbooks are on sale. Students in grades 7-12 will be in this yearbook. If you don’t want to order online and need an order form, please pick one up in the office. They are $60.00.
*Washington D.C. class trip: Second payment is due by Friday ( April 17, 2026.) (Last payment is due May 15, 2026.)
*The Kalida Sew and Sew 4-H club is having a meeting on Tuesday, April 14th from 6:30 to 7:30 in the elementary cafeteria.
*Any student interested in working for Kalida Local Schools this summer should pick up and complete an application from the office. Students must be 14 by June 1. High School students are paid $11 and anyone who has graduated, which includes this year’s seniors, will be able to make $14. Deadline to apply is May 8th. 
*Good Job this weekend to: everyone who participated in the Musical!! It was a Fantastic Performance by all!
*Good Luck tonight to the: Jr. High Track meet at 4:30pm at Four Season Park, JV baseball at 5:00pm at Ottawa Glandorf, Varsity baseball at 5:00pm at home against Delphos St. Johns, Varsity Softball at 5:00pm at home against Antwerp & 8th grade baseball at 5:30pm at Four Season Park against Miller City.

Important Reminders

*2025-2026 yearbooks are currently on sale and can be ordered online at jostensyearbook.com. Students in grades 7-12 will be in this yearbook. For anyone who prefers to not order online, order forms are available in the high school office. Please pick up a form in the office and return form and payment to the office or to Mrs. Unverferth. The cost is $60.00. Checks should be made payable to Kalida High School. Order forms and payment are due Friday, April 24th.
*Spring Band Concert: Grades 5-12. April 21 at 8:00pm in the Auditeria.
*Midterms: April 23, 2026
